Some imitators can easily be passed off as a Swarovski counterpart under warm lighting, in actuality, they cost about 50% lesser as compared to GENUINE Swarovski crystals!

Only when you placed genuine Swarovski crystals against the imitators, can you truly differentiate the intensity in terms of the color, fire & brilliance it illuminates! a) Swarovski crystals are perfectly uniform as it uses machinery that precisely cuts every individual crystal. Each crystal has its facet juncture & pointing up and it all meets at precisely the same point. A hand polished imitator bead will not have as uniform a cut. Different dimensions or blemishes may be observed from crystal to crystal.
 

b) AB finish Swarovski crystals have a uniform surface luster and generally without scratches. (The imitations often have scratches, swirl marks & oily looking surface). These imperfections, in the imposters have to do with the lower finish quality. 
 

c) Aurora Boreale(AB), a unique finish Swarovski have applied to the crystals producing a luminous rainbow affect. Tis AB coating on a clear crystal heart can shimmer anything from yellow, to blue or pink. 
 

d) If you see any bubbles and/or scratches on the crystals, it's a fake, blacklist the seller!
